who's returning to direct resident evil: retribution !
The latest news item on the fifth chapter of the Resident Evil franchise does have something new to add/confirm.
Paul W.S. Anderson will be back to direct from a script he penned. Anderson helmed the first installment and Resident Evil: Afterlife. He passed off the directing duties to parts two and three, Apocalypse and Extinction.
In addition to this, Leon Kennedy will be a character and so will Barry Burton. Plot details are still unknown, however, the shooting locations might shed some light on what will happen. Production will take place in both Toronto and Tokyo. Is Alice going to invade another Umbrella base?
Milla Jovovich is also back. The film opens September 14, 2012.
